BUFFALO INTRODUCTION TO MAPESU PRIVATE GAME RESERVE
As part of Shared Universe Ventures continued efforts towards re-wilding the Mapesu Private Game Reserve a herd of buffalo have been purchased for re-introduction onto the reserve.
The herd consists of 4 cows and their young as well as a breeding bull. The young buffalos are predominantly bulls with the exception of one heifer. All of the young are approximately 9 months old. The cows are all still relatively young and will continue to reproduce on the reserve for many years to come. Two of the cows are also currently thought to be pregnant. The breeding bull is still young but is already showing plenty of potential.
Buffalo continue to be seen as a wise investment, prices of exceptional buffalo continue to rise exponentially whilst the average buffalo price begins to flatten out. In conjunction with being savy investment, the buffalo will also act as an additional link in the circle of life here on the reserve. The addition will also make Mapesu Private Game Reserve a Big 3 reserve joining the already present Leopard population and the recently released elephant herd.
